Safeguarding
At Hope Tree School safeguarding is our highest priority. We are committed to promoting the safety and wellbeing of our whole school community.
The school follows the DfE policies on Working Together to Safeguard Children and Keeping children safe in education.

Availability of Student Places
Most schools in England, including Hope Tree School, are registered with the Department for Education. Once registered the Department for Education and the school determine the number of students that the school will provide an education for. This is called a PAN (Published Admission Number). The PAN for Hope Tree School is 36 students. 35 of those 36 places are currently taken up with students on roll.
Hope Tree School is not able to increase the PAN without specific approval from the Department for Education which can take up to 6 months.
We are very happy to welcome you to Hope Tree School. We believe that our students will make the most progress when they feel safe and are enjoying school. Students who attend Hope Tree School often arrive with significant barriers to learning and/or gaps in their educational journey. Through building positive and safe relationships, and adapting teaching styles and learning activities to suit each individual student, we strive to remove barriers to learning. We aim to facilitate the development of lifelong learning skills, alongside teaching key life skills, to support all students to achieve their potential and take their place in society with strong foundations, good self esteem and stable mental health.
